Starting the meeting, the Chairperson of MIO Bali, Bramono Sitanggang, expressed his gratitude for the presence of all regional and regional administrators.
“This meeting is very important in preparation for MIO Bali’s work program, and at the same time as a gathering place before muslim friends enter Ramadhan fasting. We know that the pandemic has begun to slow down, of course MIO Bali must carry out a tourism campaign so that the Bali tourism climate can return to normal for this reason, the role of media colleagues who are members of MIO has a very important meaning,” said Bram, starting his remarks at the meeting.
On that occasion, the Chairman of the Advisory Board, Jero Mangku I Made Supatra Karang appreciated the steps taken by the Bali MIO Management. Bali as a tourism barometer currently requires massive information and publications so that foreign tourists want to return to visit Bali.
For this reason, Jero Mangku hopes that the participation of press companies that are incorporated both in Bali and nationally can help provide a good and correct development of Bali.
“Our presence here is a testament to our commitment and loyalty to the organization. If we dare to organize, it means we dare to sacrifice time for the organization. Our role as media is to minimize negative news, make it a habit to make balanced news according to the journalistic code of ethics,” said Jero Mangku.
We will formulate the results of the meeting when and where the MIO Bali Regional Work Meeting will be held, later in consultation with the Central MIO. We hope that the Covid-19 will continue to slow down so that all the programs that are delayed can be re-formulated so that we can continue Bram.
Meanwhile, in a separate place, Susan Jane, Deputy Secretary General of PP MIO Indonesia, supports MIO Bali’s steps. Hopefully this will be the revival of MIO Bali and also the revival of tourism in Bali. We always support the work and activities of friends in the area.
“Consolidation of organizations and programs is very important to make it easier for the management to carry out activities according to the agreement that has been determined in the work meeting later. Hopefully this kind of activity can be followed by regions or regions that have not yet held a work meeting,” said Susan.
